Hello, my name is Heather Briggs, and I am a Sophomore (2024) at Rosemont High School in Sacramento, California.  I was selected for Varsity as a Freshman and team captain for the 2022 varsity season.  I play travel softball with the NorCal Bandits where I am also a team captain and have played softball since t-ball.  As a LHP and first baseman, I have a strong skillset and I am always challenging myself to improve.  I continually analyze the opponent and apply game strategy to make successful plays.  As team captain, I look for opportunities to motivate and support my teammates.  Throughout the pandemic, I have been fortunate to be able to continue playing tournaments and strengthening my skills.

As a participant in the Leadership and Enrichment through Academic Development (LEAD) program at Rosemont High School, my classes include Honors/AP and I currently have a 4.4 GPA. My goal is to compete in collegiate softball while earning my degree in a science-based program.
